Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Amenova ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application ("App").

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your information remains secure.

Non-Personal Information

We collect only non-personal, anonymous information, including:

• App usage statistics
• App performance data
• Error and crash reports
• Feature utilization metrics
• Device information (operating system, device model, app version)

This information cannot be used to identify you personally.

Personal Information

We do not collect your name, e-mail address, phone number, precise location, advertising identifiers, or the content of your prayers. We do process a random installation identifier generated by the App — see "Usage and Analytics Data" below.

For subscription purchases, billing information is processed entirely through third-party payment processors (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not have access to or store your payment information.

Device Permissions and Accessibility Service

Amenova includes an optional app-blocking feature that helps you stay focused by showing a lock screen over distracting apps until you take a moment to pray in the App. To provide this feature on Android, the App uses the following device permissions, which you enable manually and can turn off at any time:

• Accessibility Service — used only to detect which app is currently in the foreground, so the App can show its lock screen when you open an app you chose to block. It reads only the package name of the foreground app. It never reads, collects, or transmits your screen content, text, passwords, or keystrokes.
• Display over other apps — used to show the lock screen on top of the app you chose to block.

All processing for the app-blocking feature happens entirely on your device. The apps you choose to block and related settings are stored locally on your device and are never sent to us or any third party.

How We Use Information

We use the non-personal information we collect solely to:

• Improve the App's performance and stability
• Enhance features and user experience
• Analyze usage patterns to make the App more effective
• Identify and fix technical issues

Third-Party Services

Analytics Services

We use Google Analytics to collect and analyze non-personal information about app usage, errors, and performance. This helps us improve and enhance the App. Google Analytics processes this information according to their privacy policy, which you can review on their website.

Payment Processing

For subscription purchases, we use the billing systems provided by:

• Apple App Store
• Google Play Store

These third-party services collect and process payment information according to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review these policies.

Usage and Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to understand how the App is used and to improve it. We process:

• a random installation identifier generated by the App. It is not linked to your name, e-mail, account or advertising identifier, and a new one is created if you reinstall the App;
• usage events: which screens were opened, whether a prayer was completed, whether a subscription was purchased, which permissions were granted;
• technical information: device model, operating system version, manufacturer, app version and platform;
• approximate country and city, which Google derives from your IP address. We neither send nor store your IP address, and Google does not store it either.

Purpose: improving the App and understanding how it is used.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and improving the App (LGPD art. 7, IX; GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

Retention: 14 months, after which the data is deleted automatically.

We do not sell your data, we do not display advertising, and we do not track you across other applications or websites.

Subscriptions

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. An anonymous purchaser identifier and your subscription status are processed. Payment itself is handled by the App Store or Google Play — we never receive your card details.

Data That Never Leaves Your Device

The name you enter during the introduction, the list of applications you choose to block, your prayer streak and your reading position are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us or to any third party.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by writing to support@amenova.app. Please keep the technical lines at the bottom of the e-mail — they contain the identifier we need in order to find and delete your data.

Third-Party Links

Our App may contain links to other websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained for 14 months and is then deleted automatically. Other non-personal information is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

Children's Privacy

Our App is restricted to users 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has accessed our App, please ensure they stop using the App and remove it from their device immediately.

Business Transfers

If Amenova is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, non-personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
